Thanks to the post made on this site I was able to find a very loving home for my Eskie. He lives a lavish lifestyle now with three ladies that love and adore him and treat him like a king. I'm very glad his new mom found me through this post!

Within 24 hours of posting Maxie I had 3 responses and found a wonderful new home for her. I have heard from her new family how much they love her after only having her a few days. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity and success. Joy

Ceilidh was just adopted by a wonderful couple. It was love at first sight for all of us. Ceilidh has a loving home and I feel I have two new friends who are Eskie lovers and the best humans that Ceilidh could have to live with. This breed is very special, and takes a person with patience and compassion to bring out the best in them.

I was looking for a home for my sister's American Eskimo Dog. My sister has become terminally ill and could no longer care for her dog. I posted her on this site and within two days she had a brand new home in which I believe she will be well taken care of. I am thankful to the family that took her in, and also thankful that I found this site.

My American Eskimo was adopted by the sweetest family - young son perfect age to really enjoy all of Denali's special qualities. I am so thankful to have found this site and to have had the assistance of placing our dog with a good family. We love our animals and only had to find a home for Denali after an Alpha Male issue arose between him and another male dog we had. Thank you so much!

I am a very small dog/cat rescue, using my own funds to help find cats and dogs home. Cody came into my home very abused, mentally. After a few months of training, manner training, neutered and vaccinated, I started my search for the perfect home for him. I tried Craigslist, and only got responses that I felt were not the best home for Cody. I went on line, and found 'Rescue Me'. Thank you a million times for this site. I posted Cody and within three days, was contacted by a wonderful family in Ocala Florida. After Many conversations, questions from both sides, I decided this was the perfect home for Cody. We met half way, which in my case was just east of Tallahassee, Florida, since I live in the Pensacola area, and all I asked for was some gas money, which they gladly gave me. I spend a lot of money on these abused, neglected and abandoned animals, and all I ask for is a good home, and maybe some gas money to meet you somewhere if you can't come here. It's not about the money I have involved, it's about finding a good home and what is best for the dog or cat. I am getting emails from the family that got Cody, and they love him so much and he is adjusting well. He will be the only dog. He will get all the attention, and from what I hear, he'll be spoiled rotten. Thank you thank you thank you Rescue Me for this site. You helped me find a good dog a great family.

Missy was adopted in December to a wonderful woman in her 80's who has had dogs all her life and had a senior American Eskimo pass away a few months earlier. She was third in line to be the adopter after we got 2 earlier applications. Both of those owners took the application process all the way to the 'meet the dog' stage (I called their references, etc.) and both turned her down because they decided they couldn't handle adopting a dog of her age after all! Well, Missy took to her new home right away, including her doggie house mate, who is very timid and looks to Missy for social support. This match is what doing rescue is all about!

Qannik found a great home - they owned four dogs like him in past and their last one passed away in December. They stay in touch and all is working out great. Thanks, Carol

Because of my upcoming marriage and move to new home, I had to make some difficult decisions about my 2 dogs. I am only able to accommodate one at the new house, so I had to find my 3-yr old eskie, Maya, a new home. This was very stressful for me, as for anyone having to relinquish their pet. I was so happy to find a resource that would specifically reach out to people that wanted to adopt an American Eskimo. It didn't take long before a wonderful couple from Eastern Washington contacted me and said they would like to make Maya part of their family, as one of their eskies had just passed away. They had a second eskie that would be company for my Maya, since she grew up with another dog and they constantly played together. This was exactly what I was hoping for and though I miss her a great deal, I know she is in good hands. I would like to thank the Rescue Me organization for giving me peace of mind in a difficult situation.

Tula did find a good home. A woman contacted us after viewing the posting we put up about her. Her American Eskimo had recently pasted away that she loved and she wanted a dog like her. We met with her and she got to know Tula. We felt comfortable that they would be a good match and agreed to let her adopt Tula. She has let us know that they are both doing very well together and Tula is happy. Thanks for the use of you site! Amanda

Jeff, After several inquires, we have finally found the PERFECT home for Caesar. Although we are still saddened that we had to put Caesar up for adoption, we are confident this is the best decision for the quality of life for Caesar. We are very happy to have used this website in our search for the appropriate match. Not only did this website offer free listings but it also gave us the option of interviewing via phone and e-mail. A big thank you from the Menwer family & Caesar (Am. Eskimo).

Hello Jeff, Thank you so much for sending the email! Juneau was adopted by a very friendly couple. It was a very difficult decision to find her a new home, and I am so fortunate to find people who know all about her particular breed. After posting her profile, it was no more than an hour before I received a call. Thanks again, Kristen

I found Angel a home using your site... What I love about your site is that I attracted people who love the breed. The new home for Angel is within 2 hours of where we live, and the new owner was very sensitive to our concerns and has kept us updated on her transition. In short, using your site was fundamental in our placing Angel in a new home. Thank you! Emily Carter

Jeff, I placed the post for Snowflake last Sunday and calls began coming in on Wednesday. The family I first spoke with came yesterday and officially adopted Snowflake. I am certain she has found a wonderful home and am thankful that your website helped put me in touch with a family that was looking for to add another family member to their mix. Best Regards, Steve Riska

I successfully rehomed Jagger to a home which was well suited to her temperament and behavior. I've since rescued another dog with your service, who I will in turn place in the right home when the time comes... Unless I keep him because he's such a sweetheart! Thanks again! Connor
