Dasher takes a few days to warm up to you...unless you are a 5 yr old boy who loves to run and jump. Dasher loves kids. He is good with other dogs, and ignores cats. He is a runner, so a fenced in yard is required to adopt him. If you are an Eskie owner then we can talk about the yard situation.

Meet our little ELLY...all 16 lbs of her! What a sweet and loving dog she is!!! She LOVES to be carried around...and loves to jump up on the couch to be with you. It was fun to watch her jump on and off the couch this morning checking things out. She will come running up to you...put her paws on your legs and look to be picked up. So when you lean down to pick her up...you get smothered in kisses as a reward. Elly was loved at some point in her life. She did run when I picked up the broom last night to sweep off the patio...how sad. She looked at me and I told her it was OK...and she came to me..I had to put down the broom first. She is ... (Read More)well behaved and if you tell her to get down off a chair or couch, she does. She is house trained as well. She is a singer like most Eskies....and sings for attention and food time. She should be the only dog unless you want to spend time correcting her. She will growl at the other dogs over treats. (Less)

Meet the boss...SNOW (Snowball). She is one strong and determined little 23 lbs of American Eskimo. She wants to be the alpha over you and the house. She is slightly stand-offish at first, but look out once she warms up to you. She will do her prancing dance for you then jump into your lap to give kisses. She is house and crate trained. She prefers to lay by the TV or on or by your feet. She just turned 4 yrs old at the end of November. She is fixed, fully vetted, and micro-chipped. She would be better off as the only dog, since the world revolves around her, and she wants to dominate all the dogs she meets. She is up for adoption with Ohio ...     The American Eskimo Dog is believed to be one of the closest breeds to the Neolithic canines from which all modern domesticated dogs have been bred. The American Eskimo Dog used to be known as the German Spitz, but underwent a name change due to anti-German sentiment during World War I. Some American Eskimo Dogs will not let strangers in the house until the master says it is okay.
